How good is dogs hearing?
It’s no secret that dogs have much more sensitive hearing than humans and can detect much quieter sounds. Dogs hearing is four times more sensitive than ours. They can hear a lot that we don’t as they hear higher frequency sounds, meaning that while some sounds are inaudible to us they are clear for our dogs. It’s incredible to think that what we hear at 6 metres a dog can hear at 24 metres.
